Sri Guru Singh Sabha Manchester Central (SGSSMC) is one of the prominent Gurdwara organizations in Manchester, UK, with its roots dating back to 1981. Our Gurdwara( Sikh Association) is a registered charity founded in 1981 by a migrating Sikh population who had permanently settled in Manchester UK. For years they struggled to have a permanent place of worship for the benefit of sadh sangat and finally in the year 2000 Central Gurdwara came into being. Over the years the place has grown to its present form and has become a symbol of excellence where advancement of Sikhi and encouragement of the younger generation to get involved in Sikhi is the primary goal of the organization.
